between Drvenik and Gradac (distance
to Gradac is 5 km), and is very segnificant tourist resort in this
area of Makarska riviera.
Small town (500 inhabitants), main economy is fishing and tourisam.
Podaca and neighbouring places offer excellent domestic, traditional
and various other dishes in restaurans and taverns.
There is also
post office with money exchange service, tourist information bureau,
grocery stores and mini-markets, bakery, caffe bars, pizzeria, beach
bar, newspaper stand, bus station, boccia playground, beach valley
ball, walking path in total length 4,5 km connecting Podaca, Brist
